Overview

Hiking at Sundarijal Chisapani is This hike, which can be completed in one to three days, combines the best of nature with a taste of ordinary local life. It offers breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas, as well as enchanting sunsets and ethereal sunrises from Chisapani and Nagarkot. The journey starts with a short drive to Sundarijal, a popular hangout and crowded picnic site in the north of Kathmandu. Situated within the confines of Shivapuri National Park, this area features cool shadows, towering trees, picturesque streams, and a calm ambience that contrast sharply with the bustle and cacophony of the metropolis.

With the exception of a few towns along the way, the trek trail travels through a forest to the first day’s goal, Chisapani. A mixed community of Brahmins, Gurungs, and Sherpas resides in Chisapani. Additionally, the settlement enjoys a stunning view of a sizable portion of the Himalayan range, which glows ethereally in the twilight.
